Hagensborg is a manufacturer and marketer of fine chocolates and other high quality gourmet food products. In 16 years of operating history, Hagensborg has been able to build a solid, stable infrastructure and distribution network as well as strong brand recognition for the Hagensborg name and its product lines.
Hagensborg currently markets two main product categories, namely confectionery and seafood pâtés and smoked salmon filets.
Hagensborg's confectionary products are made with the highest quality European chocolate and the Company's 'no sugar added' and 'all natural' chocolates are among the most popular in the industry. Hagensborg's chocolate production plant is a 12,000 square feet facility located in Vancouver, Canada with a production capacity of 9 tons of chocolate per day or 8 kilograms per minute.
Hagensborg Seafood Pâtés are the market leader in this product category. The Company owns the proprietary recipe and the custom-designed food processor. The production of this all natural product is outsourced to a specialized fishing and canning operation to ensure the freshness of the seafood and excellence in preparation. Hagensborg's traditional Northwest-style Smoked Salmon Filets are of the highest quality and come in an award-winning winning box design.
Hagensborg markets its products both under the Hagensborg brand and on a private-label basis to meet our individual customers' needs. All Hagensborg products are manufactured in kosher facilities and made from kosher ingredients. Hagensborg's customers include grocery, drug, catalogue, gift, club and speciality stores in the US and Canada.
